How to Pay for Advertising on an iGaming Ad Network: Deposits, Wallet and Billing

Oct 10, 2026 · 8 min read · Taroviser Team

Pay for advertising means two different things to an iGaming advertiser. The first is what you are billed for: impressions, clicks or actions. The second is how the money actually moves: how you fund an account, which payment methods a gambling-friendly ad network accepts, and how spend comes out of your balance. Most guides stop at the first. This one covers both, with most of the space on the second, because that is where new advertisers tend to get stuck.

A quick note before we start. This is written for advertisers, affiliates and media buyers who buy traffic for casino, sportsbook, poker and lottery offers. It is not player-facing, and nothing here is advice on how to gamble. Run every campaign inside the rules: respect age-gating, geo-restrictions and responsible gambling requirements in each market you touch, and only buy where your offer is licensed.

How advertisers pay for ads on an iGaming network

Ad platforms bill in one of two ways. Postpaid platforms let you run first and charge you later, usually against a card on file or an invoice with credit terms. Prepaid platforms ask you to fund a balance first and then draw spend from it as your ads deliver.

Specialised iGaming ad networks are usually prepaid, and there are good reasons on both sides. Gambling is a restricted category for many card schemes and payment providers, so a network that extends credit to every new advertiser takes on a risk it cannot price. For the advertiser, prepaid works as a hard ceiling. You cannot spend money you have not deposited, which matters when a test campaign meets an unexpectedly hungry traffic source on a Friday night.

Taroviser works on the prepaid model. You top up an advertiser wallet, the balance is usable as soon as a deposit is confirmed, and spend is deducted as your campaigns deliver.

What you are paying for: the pricing model

Before you think about the payment method, decide what each dollar buys. That is set by the pricing model you choose when you build a campaign, and the options depend on the format.

FormatPricing modelsYou are billed for
Push Notification AdsCPC, SmartCPC, CPAClicks, or a defined action
In-page PushCPC, SmartCPC, CPAClicks, or a defined action
Native, including banner sizesCPC, SmartCPC, CPAClicks, or a defined action
PopunderCPM, SmartCPM, CPC, CPAImpressions, clicks, or a defined action

The campaign builder shows only the models that are valid for the format you picked, and the pricing model is fixed once the campaign is created, so choose deliberately. CPA appears on the pricing page as CPA Goal 2.0. If you are still deciding between models, read CPM vs CPC vs CPA for casino traffic and our hub on performance advertising for iGaming. Payment methods for advertising on Taroviser

These are the ways to add funds to your advertiser wallet:

  • USDT stablecoin. Sent on TRC-20 (Tron), BEP-20 (BNB Chain) or ERC-20 (Ethereum). The deposit form lists the networks currently available and gives each one its own receiving address.
  • Credit or debit card. Visa, Mastercard and Amex, entered in the payment processor's secure card fields, so Taroviser never sees your card number.
  • PayPal. Listed on the payments page alongside card and crypto.
  • Bank wire. For larger or managed accounts, from $1,000, confirmed manually by the team.

The minimum deposit is $50 for card, PayPal and crypto. The Add funds form in your wallet shows the methods switched on for your account, so treat it as the final word on what you can use today.

How a USDT deposit works

  1. Open the wallet, choose USDT and enter the amount you want to add.
  2. Pick the network. The form shows the exact amount to send, the processing fee and the net amount that will reach your balance.
  3. Send that exact amount to the address shown, using the QR code or the copy button, on that network only.
  4. The transfer is matched to your account and credited automatically once it confirms on-chain, usually within minutes. Until then it is listed under pending deposits.

Two habits prevent most crypto deposit problems. Send on the network the form names, never on a different chain that also happens to carry USDT. And send the exact amount displayed, because that is how the transfer is matched to your account.

How a card deposit works

Card deposits are credited when the payment completes. A declined or incomplete payment does not credit the wallet, so there is no half-funded state to untangle later. Cards go through 3-D Secure, and as with any purchase in a restricted category, your bank may ask you to confirm the payment. That is normal, not a sign that anything is wrong.

Fees

Deposits carry a processing fee that depends on the method. You do not have to work it out yourself: the deposit form quotes the fee and the net amount before you pay, and the same calculation is used when the wallet is credited. There is no monthly minimum spend, so a small test campaign carries no fixed overhead beyond the deposit itself.

How spend comes out of your balance

Once the wallet is funded, money moves in one direction: from your balance to the campaigns that deliver. A few rules keep that predictable.

  • Launching needs a funded balance. A campaign cannot go live on an empty wallet. Top up first, then launch.
  • Budgets sit inside the balance. You set a daily budget and an optional total budget when you build the campaign, and they are kept within what the wallet can actually cover.
  • Spend is deducted as delivery is reported. Debits appear in the wallet's transaction list with the balance after each one, so you can trace every movement.
  • A low balance pauses delivery. If the balance runs too low to keep delivering, active campaigns are paused automatically. Add funds and resume them from the dashboard.

That last rule is the prepaid ceiling working for you. A campaign that finds a lot of traffic cannot quietly run past the money you meant to commit. To see how spend lines up with impressions, clicks and conversions, read our guide to reading ad impressions in your advertiser dashboard.

How much to deposit for a first test

Deposit for the test you want to read, not for the campaign you hope to scale one day. A useful way to size it:

  1. Pick the outcome. For most iGaming offers that is the first-time deposit, or FTD.
  2. Decide how many you need to judge a source. A handful of FTDs is noise. You need enough per GEO and format to separate a good source from a lucky one.
  3. Multiply by a realistic cost per FTD. On offers that convert well, a workable cost per FTD tends to sit in roughly the $25 to $75 range. A weak landing page or deposit flow can push it to $100 to $200 on otherwise fine traffic.
  4. Leave room for learning. The first days of any campaign spend money before the deposits that spend earned show up, because players often deposit some time after they click.

Then split the deposit across a small number of clean tests, one GEO and one format per campaign line, rather than one blended campaign that tells you nothing. Our guides to A/B testing iGaming campaigns and lowering cost per FTD cover the test design.

Payment hygiene for gambling advertisers

  • Match the account to the payer. Choose Individual or Company when you register, and pay from accounts that belong to that person or business. It keeps records clean and support simple.
  • Keep your own ledger. Reconcile wallet transactions against the spend in your tracker and the deposits reported by your postback every week.
  • Do not fund what you cannot track. Set up S2S postback before you scale spend, so every dollar can be tied to registrations and deposits.
  • Plan large budgets with the team. If you expect to spend at volume, a managed account funded by bank wire is often simpler than many small top-ups. Talk to the team about it.

FAQ

How do I pay for advertising on Taroviser?

You fund a prepaid wallet and your campaigns spend from it. Add funds with USDT, a credit or debit card or PayPal, or arrange a bank wire for a larger managed account. Once a deposit is confirmed the balance is usable, and spend is deducted from it as your campaigns deliver.

What is the minimum deposit to start advertising?

The minimum deposit is $50 for card, PayPal and crypto. Bank wire is available from $1,000 for larger or managed accounts and is confirmed manually by the team. There is no monthly minimum spend.

Can I pay for ads with USDT?

Yes. USDT can be sent on the TRC-20, BEP-20 or ERC-20 network, depending on which networks the deposit form shows. Each network has its own receiving address, and the balance is credited automatically once the transfer confirms on-chain, usually within minutes. Always send on the network the form names.

Are there fees on advertising payments?

Deposits carry a processing fee that depends on the payment method. The deposit form shows the fee and the net amount that will reach your balance before you pay. There is no monthly minimum, so a small test does not carry a fixed overhead.

What happens when my advertising balance runs out?

Campaigns need a funded balance to launch, and their budgets are kept within what the wallet can cover. If the balance runs too low to keep delivering, active campaigns are paused automatically. Top up the wallet and resume them from the dashboard.

Do I pay per impression, per click or per deposit?

That depends on the pricing model you choose when you build the campaign. Push Notification Ads, In-page Push and Native run on CPC, SmartCPC or CPA. Popunder runs on CPM, SmartCPM, CPC or CPA. The pricing model is fixed once the campaign is created.
